 Dixie Toga's environmental management adopts eco-efficient practices that allow it to produce severla types of packaging with the rational use of resources. Check out some of these practices:
CO2 Emissions Control
• Since 2006, through Bemis, Dixie Toga participates in the Carbon Disclosure Project and report its emissions of greenhouse gases.
Consumption Reduction and Reuse of Water in the Dutra Plant
• The Water Reuse Program generated savings of about 1.5 million liters of drinking water per month in 2009, roughly half the consumption of the previous year;
• This practice was important in reducing by almost 50% the average water use per tonne of packaging produced;
• The São Paulo (SP) plant index in 2009 was 0.7 liters of water per pound of packaging produced.
Management and Recycling of Industrial Shavings
